Google Search Bar... That Works! And Its Story!Yesterday & Today (Wed&Thur) we were doing these geog assesments, we had to create webpages about some capital citys, I chose Paris. anyway i went on this forum to get the google search bar at the bottom, i copied the code and pasted it into my webpage, ppl started coming over saying "WOW! how did u get that?!?!?!?" so i said, with my website. and that got them confuzed... so they started bugging me, so i tweaked the code a bit, so the bar didnt work!!! so i e-mailed everyone with the fake code (they thought it was real [i had mine like that aswell so it wasnt obvious!]) so on thurs i tweaked the code again so it worked, and thats it. here is the code:

btw that really overcomplicates it
here is what i wouldve done (without the ads and the pics and stuff):
all you really need for that is the form action, method, and the name for the text input to be "q" otherwise the rest doesnt matter |

He didnt even give me any of the code =(
but i managed without him... And i probably got a better grade, seeing as i wasnt too busy with search bar tweaking to do the work Alz spent the first lesson making a nice site banner, then spent the rest mucking about with the HTML I know hardly anything about html and all that, but do better than him in ICT. In fact, most people do, even those who cant even operate pc's very well. Its because his genius isnt recognized... |

im taking a course in computer programming next year. first semester is just all of the basics, and i think we do a unit on html in that (A+ for me!!). second semester we learn java!!! | |
