ART! JUST LEARNING!!!This is my first try!
I was just messing around with the stuff, there is a drop shadow, its hard to see on a black bg, rightclick and view image, you see it better. I Followed a tutorial on this one:

they are ok, you are still learning
here are a couple of pointers: 1. blend the text and the pics with the background to do this, simply lower the optacy for the layer with the text and the layer with the render (i am assuming that you are using GIMP 2. use some better fonts, you can download them from any website just google search "download fonts", or use www.dafont.com 3. I see that the backgrounds you are using are the pre-made GIMP backgrounds you should make your own backgrounds with various brushes and colors. here is a great site to download brushes (for gimp), it's where i get all of mine from: http://browse.deviantart.com/reso...pbrushes/?order=9&alltime=yes you are exactly like me when i started making cg arts, you will get a lot better in time |

well you still didnt make your own bg, that is another pre-made gimp background
you didnt blend your text you didnt blend your renders but i like how you made the drop shadow red its very cool, i would never know how to do that |

I did blend my text. i didnt make my bg. i didnt blend my renders. To make the drop shadow red go Script Fu -> Shadow(or sumin) -> Drop Shadow. were it says the numbers to put were it were you want, there is a color box underneath. click on that. |

i knew how to make drop shadows, i just didnt know how to make them red
anyways, sorry i didnt notice you blended your text, its very good next time try blending your renders and making your own background is key; it makes a good art into great art |

yep, then you can claim it as completely your own. Thats why i always work from scratch

you shouldnt use paint its much too basic of a program, download GIMP is 100% free and legal, you can download it from www.gimp.org | ||

I have GIMP
i just stick to paint because... well, i kinda feel sorry that nobody uses it anymore ='( And anyway, you can still use it to make great art! |

lol, we are!
and i didnt make the dragon, i got it off google lol and i didnt blend it to make it glowing... the original pic had a gold background. i was too lazy to fully render it, so i left that part there. when i was done, there was a glowing dragon!! it looked good so i just kept it lol |
